Halloween costume planning is usually well underway by the end of September but, very often, all the extras and accessories are left to last minute – as our Halloween HQ stores in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Kildare, and Galway see in the days leading to October 31st.

Delivery timelines

So whether your costume is purchased with us or elsewhere, we still have everything you need to celebrate Samhain in style. For online orders, be sure to leave enough time to make your purchase. Orders received before 2pm Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) will be processed the same day. Orders received over weekend days or any holiday will be processed on the next business day. It’s essential to keep these timelines in mind when ordering the week before Halloween.

What Halloween accessories are popular this year?

·         Wigs & facial hair: From Michael Jackson to Wednesday Addams, Fiona from Shrek, and the latest K-Pop trends, there are plenty of extras available this year from Halloween HQ.

·         Masks: one trend that never went out of fashion was a good auld scary mask. Whether it’s our classy black female Mask with a flower on the side, the trademark Batman mask, the rather gory Freddy Krueger look, or a Michael Myers or Presidental special, we have something to tickle everyone’s fancy.

·         Halloween hats: From a range of witches hats, hats for cowboys or cowgirls, there are accessories for adults and children alike.

·         Halloween makeup: we’ve all seen the horror videos – gorgeously applied homemade makeup that delivers scares but is near impossible to remove. Our stores have an amazing Moon Creations Pro Face Paint range in several colours, along with fake blood, coloured hair spray, and a selection of tattoos and transfers

So, our Top Tips for Halloween Accessories in 2026:

·         Get organised early – think about your costume and everything you need early on!

·         Preparation time – Halloween is a busy day in its own right, so leave enough time to prepare everyone, including furry friends, in good time

·         Be sensory aware – whether it’s face paint, costume materials, or accessories, be aware that not everyone likes every sight, feel, or sound that Samhain brings. We cannot change this for people, but we can be mindful of how they experience things differently

·         Light the way – for any visitors arriving to your home, light up driveways and paths to ensure safe landings and departures

·         Capture the moment – after all the planning and prep work, make sure to get some great pics on the night!

·         Store the leftovers away – we are proud of our suppliers and their Halloween products so with some good care, there should be items left over for next year
